The Biomedical Engineering Department, under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Fatima Rahim Abbas, organized an awareness campaign. Based on the Biomedical Engineering Department's role at Future University in promoting environmental and community awareness, the department launched a campaign entitled "Basic Safety Rules and Safe Handling of Chemicals." Its objectives and mission: • To raise awareness of essential occupational and environmental safety rules and procedures when handling various chemicals. • To clarify safe handling practices within academic laboratories or industrial facilities to ensure the safety of staff and students. • To contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by maintaining a safe and sustainable educational and working environment. This initiative is part of a series of scientific and educational activities organized by the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering to develop students' skills and ensure the application of the highest international safety standards in its laboratories.
