In line with its academic and societal role, and within the framework of spreading environmental awareness and promoting social responsibility, the Biomedical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Sustainability for a Better Future.” The campaign aims to enhance awareness of sustainability concepts, promote positive behaviors in the rational use of resources, and encourage environmentally friendly practices. This contributes to environmental protection, improves quality of life, and helps build a conscious and responsible society capable of facing future environmental challenges. This campaign aligns with global sustainable development trends and supports several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including: SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production SDG 13: Climate Action The department emphasized that this campaign represents part of its commitment to its scientific and community role, and its efforts to engage students in awareness initiatives that contribute to achieving sustainable development and fostering a culture of environmental preservation within the university and the surrounding community.
