Within the academic and societal role played by the Biomedical Engineering Department in promoting and enhancing health awareness, the department at the College of Engineering – Mustaqbal University organized an awareness campaign entitled “The Importance of Healthy Behavior,” as part of its ongoing efforts to instill preventive health concepts among students and the university community. The campaign aimed to highlight the importance of adopting sound health behaviors and their role in disease prevention, promoting public health, and improving quality of life at both the individual and community levels. It also encouraged participants to adopt healthy lifestyles based on scientific knowledge and proper practices. This campaign aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by enhancing health awareness, supporting prevention, and contributing to the building of a healthy society capable of addressing various health challenges. This initiative is part of a series of scientific and awareness activities implemented by the Biomedical Engineering Department, reaffirming its role in serving the university community, promoting a culture of sustainable health, and linking academic knowledge with practical applications that have a positive impact.
