The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Mustaqbal University organized two integrated scientific activities, reflecting the department’s commitment to creating a safe and modern learning environment that combines laboratory awareness with digital proficiency. The first activity was an awareness campaign focusing on the culture of preventive maintenance for laboratory equipment, emphasizing that regular maintenance and precise calibration ensure user safety, accuracy of results, and reduction of waste and costs. The campaign also highlighted the importance of following operational instructions and reporting any malfunctions promptly. The second activity consisted of a training workshop for first-year students, aimed at developing their skills in using electronic learning platforms and overcoming technical challenges, thereby enhancing academic interaction and ensuring smooth access to educational content. These two activities align with the university’s vision to enhance educational quality and build student capacities, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by supporting safe and sustainable learning and the efficient use of modern technologies.
