Measuring fluid flow is a fundamental aspect of modern industrial and domestic applications. This project aims to design and implement a smart digital flow meter system using programming and microcontroller technologies to provide accurate, real-time readings that aid in water resource management, conservation, and waste reduction.
The device relies on a flow sensor containing an internal turbine. As the fluid flows, the turbine rotates, and the sensor sends electrical pulses to the microcontroller (Arduino). The Arduino counts these pulses and converts them into understandable values such as liters per minute or the total volume of fluid consumed.
