We are pleased to share with you the details of our innovative engineering project that combines technology and vital medical services, designed to provide smart and accessible healthcare:
(Heart Rate & Blood Oxygen Sensor)
This project was completed by a distinguished engineering team under the supervision of Dr. Amir Najah Saud.
Based on the Arduino system, the device measures two vital indicators crucial to human health:
1. Heart Rate (BPM): to monitor the efficiency and activity of the heart.
2. Blood Oxygen Saturation (SpO2): to ensure the proper functioning of respiratory systems.
How does the device work?
The device utilizes optical sensing technology. A finger is placed on the sensor, which emits infrared light. By analyzing the light absorbed and reflected by red blood cells, a microcontroller processes the data and displays the results accurately and quickly on a digital screen.
