Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Radwan Salman, and the Head of the Department of English Language, Dr Salam Hassan Makki, Assistant Lecturer Iltifat Aliwi Al-Husseini, a member of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee in the Department of English Language at the College, presented an awareness-raising psycho-dramatic theatrical performance for the students of the Department of English Language. The performance addressed a highly important topic, namely sedative drug addiction and how to deal with such cases, which require both psychological counseling intervention and medical treatment. The activity was held on Monday, 22/12/2025, at 12:00 p.m., in the courtyard of the third floor of the Humanities Building. The awareness-raising play aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of sedative drug addiction, clarify the signs and symptoms of addiction, and highlight its negative effects on the addict’s psychological and physical health, while emphasizing the importance of enhancing scientific awareness of this destructive issue that may lead to loss of life. The workshop witnessed distinguished attendance by a number of faculty members and students of the Department of English Language, who showed clear interaction with the activity’s segments and expressed their admiration for the students’ outstanding performance and the well-chosen topic, praising the level of organization and the quality of the content presented.#College_of_Education #Al-Mustaqbal_University
