Under the auspices of the Biomedical Engineering Department, a field trip was organized for students to the Anesthesia Technology Laboratories – Anatomy Lab. There, Ms. Zainab Sattar conducted a workshop on skull bones, highlighting their anatomical structure, vital functions, and role in protecting the brain and sensory organs. She also explained their relationship to biomedical engineering in terms of designing and developing prosthetic limbs, medical implants, imaging techniques, and surgical planning, thus enhancing students' understanding of modern clinical and engineering applications.
This workshop supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:
Goal 4: Quality Education
Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
