A Training Workshop to Enhance Electronic Publishing Skills for Authorized Staff of Newly Established Departments

In the context of developing media operations and enhancing digital efficiency, and in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education)—a specialized training workshop was held on the mechanisms of publishing content on the official website. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Shams Abbas Hassoun, Website Administrator. The workshop targeted the authorized website representatives of the newly established departments, namely: Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Technologies Department of Emergency Medical Technologies Department of Community Health Technologies The workshop provided a comprehensive explanation of the website publishing process, outlining the essential steps for preparing news items and digital content in a professional manner. It also reviewed key considerations in the publishing process, including headline writing, text organization, appropriate image selection, and adherence to official media standards. Furthermore, the workshop emphasized the importance of unifying the publishing style to reflect the institution’s identity and to ensure the clear and credible communication of scientific and administrative activities. It also highlighted the role of the official website in documenting the achievements of newly established departments and strengthening communication within the academic community. At the conclusion of the workshop, it was emphasized that developing electronic publishing skills is a fundamental component of building educational and technical capacities. Such development contributes to improving the quality of education and disseminating knowledge, in line with sustainable development orientations and the institution’s vision for digital transformation.
