The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop entitled “Terrorism in Iraq,” delivered by Dr. Hassan Khalid Hassan, with the attendance of a number of faculty and staff members. The workshop was part of the College’s intellectual and educational activities aimed at raising awareness of contemporary societal issues. The workshop addressed the roots of terrorism and its profound impact on Iraqi society from social, economic, and humanitarian perspectives. It emphasized the importance of community awareness and the role of educational institutions in promoting values of peace and rejecting violence and extremism. It also highlighted the role of youth and students in spreading a culture of tolerance, dialogue, and support for social stability. The College affirmed that organizing this workshop reflects its educational and social responsibility in promoting moderate thought and reinforcing human values. These efforts align with the principles of social sustainability by supporting an educational environment grounded in intellectual security, encouraging peaceful coexistence, and contributing to the development of a more aware and stable society.
