Within the framework of the College of Engineering Technologies’ commitment to supporting scientific solutions that address water scarcity challenges, the Dean of the College held a specialized scientific workshop entitled “Modern Irrigation Methods and Techniques for Water Conservation.” The workshop highlighted the latest approaches to efficient water resource management.
The workshop focused on modern irrigation technologies such as drip irrigation, sprinkler irrigation, and smart automated control systems, emphasizing their effective role in reducing water loss and optimizing water use efficiency, in line with current requirements and accelerating climate changes.
The workshop also stressed the importance of applying these technologies in agricultural and construction projects, due to their direct impact on supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly:

The event witnessed positive interaction from participants, who emphasized the necessity of adopting and disseminating these modern practices and benefiting from them in shaping sustainable development policies that preserve water resources for future generations.
