The Department of Radiological Techniques held an official meeting chaired by the Head of the Department, in the presence of the Quality Assurance Officer and members of the Student Information System (SIS) Committee. The meeting was conducted within the framework of cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the development and activation of the SIS program in accordance with the approved central guidelines.
During the meeting, mechanisms for strengthening the implementation of the Student Information System were discussed in line with the Ministry’s directives, aiming to unify academic and administrative databases and enhance their accuracy and reliability. Emphasis was placed on adherence to ministerial regulations concerning the regular and systematic entry and updating of data.
The meeting addressed several key points, including:
• Updating student and academic staff databases in compliance with Ministry requirements.
• Ensuring accurate documentation of scientific and research activities within the system to support quality indicators.
• Achieving integration between academic and administrative data to meet official reporting standards.
• Establishing a periodic follow-up mechanism under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Officer to ensure compliance with quality assurance and accreditation standards.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Department stressed the importance of continuous cooperation with the Ministry to ensure the successful implementation of the SIS program, highlighting that data accuracy and workflow efficiency are essential pillars for institutional development and the achievement of comprehensive quality standards.
