Under the patronage of His Excellency the Iraqi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Commerce – Mansoura University (Egypt) and the College of Business Economics – University of Bahrain, the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University announces the convening of the Second International Scientific Conference entitled: “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Response Policy” The conference will be held on April 1–2, 2026, at Al-Mustaqbal University. The conference aims to highlight key issues related to poverty and sustainable development, analyze the economic and social costs of poverty, discuss government policies and social support programs, and promote environmental and economic sustainability. It will also address the role of digital transformation, financial technology (FinTech), and artificial intelligence in tackling development challenges. The conference will include several scientific tracks, including: the economic track, administrative track, accounting track, and financial track, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. The organizing committee invites researchers and interested participants to take part and submit their abstracts and papers within the specified deadlines. Participation in the conference is free of charge, and the conference administration will provide hospitality for participating researchers.
