Under the patronage of the esteemed Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, Dean of the College, the College of Education – Women’s Affairs Unit organized an awareness lecture entitled “Occupational Health and Safety” for first-year students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences. The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Thanaa Baha’a Al-Din Abdullah, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., in Hall 108, Humanities Building. The lecture was attended and participated in by Assistant Lecturer Jaafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi. The lecture addressed the concept of occupational health, the occupational risks that workers may face within institutions, as well as methods of prevention and occupational safety and protection procedures. This activity falls ضمن the executive plan of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women, Axis Five, Paragraph (5). It also contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 1: No Poverty, Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, and Goal 4: Quality Education. #College_of_Education #Future_University
