The Quality and University Performance Committee at the College of Education held an important meeting to discuss the current status of implementing quality standards and academic accreditation within the college, and to identify the key requirements for developing institutional performance and advancing the scientific and administrative level in line with the approved national and international standards in higher education institutions.
The meeting included discussions on mechanisms for enhancing the culture of quality within the college, reviewing the strategic plans developed to ensure improvement in the quality of educational outcomes, as well as evaluating academic and administrative performance and following up the implementation of developmental programs that contribute to achieving the college’s goals and future vision of preparing distinguished educational cadres capable of serving the community.
The meeting also addressed the importance of unifying efforts between the scientific departments and administrative units to ensure the integrated application of quality standards, and emphasized the necessity of continuing self-evaluation processes and documenting achievements in support of the academic accreditation process.
The meeting was attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, who stressed the importance of adherence to quality standards as a fundamental pillar in developing the educational process and enhancing the academic level of the college, praising the efforts of the Quality Committee and its continuous pursuit of institutional excellence and strengthening the college’s academic standing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee recommended the continuation of periodic meetings to follow up the implementation of quality plans and develop university performance in a manner that achieves the college’s strategic objectives and enhances its leading role in serving the educational sector.
