Al-Mustaqbal University, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning / National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology (NCMDIT), organized a specialized training workshop entitled: “Academic Quality Management According to International Standards – A Journey Towards International Accreditation”, coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week and under the patronage of University President Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The workshop was delivered by Eng. Dr. Hussein Al-Gartani – Director General of the National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology, while Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi – Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision delivered the welcoming speech. The workshop was also attended by members of the Central Quality Assurance Division and all departments of the College of Engineering and Technology. The National Center for Administrative Development and Information Technology (NCMDIT) is a specialized unit affiliated with the Ministry of Planning, established in 1970. It focuses on developing the capacities of employees in the governmental administrative apparatus and the private sector through training and qualification programs in management and information technology, aiming to improve institutional performance and increase administrative efficiency, contributing to the achievement of development goals and the enhancement of government services. The workshop addressed the most important international standards for academic performance quality, the requirements for national and international accreditation, and the best global practices in institutional quality management, along with showcasing experiences of international universities in transforming research and innovative ideas into entrepreneurial projects that create job opportunities and support the national economy. The university emphasized that this event comes within its strategic vision focused on quality, innovation, and entrepreneurship, aiming to develop the capabilities of academic institutions, link education to the labor market, and enhance the role of universities in achieving sustainable development and supporting the national economy through the development of human competencies and entrepreneurial projects.
