The Faculty of biology launched an awareness campaign entitled “Sustainable Agriculture”, with the supervision of M.M. Zeinab Nadhim Aziz and M.M. Ali Kameet Hamad, aiming to introduce students and university staff to the importance of eco-friendly agriculture and its role in building a sustainable future. The campaign focused on raising awareness about sustainable farming practices, which help protect soil and water, support plant diversity, reduce negative environmental impacts, and emphasize the importance of preserving food resources for future generations. The campaign included the distribution of informative brochures throughout the university, containing practical tips on organic farming, using modern technologies to protect the environment, and encouraging students to apply these practices in their daily lives. The initiative received great appreciation and active participation from students, who shared their suggestions and ideas on how to integrate sustainable agriculture concepts within the campus and the local community. This campaign reflects the Faculty of biology commitment to environmental awareness initiatives, encouraging everyone to adopt sustainable practices that enhance quality of life and protect the environment.
