As part of its ongoing efforts to support awareness and educational activities that contribute to developing students’ intellectual and creative abilities, the Department of Biochemistry organized an awareness campaign titled “6 Ways to Enhance Creativity”, presented by Mr. Haider Mutlak Mousa (M.Sc.). The campaign aimed to promote creative thinking among students and encourage them to discover and develop their creative potential in both academic and practical fields. During the campaign, the lecturer highlighted the concept of creativity and its importance in academic life, particularly in scientific disciplines such as biochemistry, where innovation plays a vital role in scientific progress and research development. The campaign addressed six key methods for enhancing creativity, focusing on stimulating scientific curiosity, encouraging thinking outside conventional frameworks, effective time management, openness to new ideas, developing problem-solving skills, and building self-confidence. These approaches were presented in a simplified and engaging manner to motivate students to adopt creative thinking in their studies and future careers. The campaign witnessed positive interaction from students through discussions and questions, reflecting their interest in the presented topics and their awareness of the importance of creativity in achieving academic excellence and professional success. This campaign comes as part of a series of awareness activities organized by the department to enhance students’ skills and foster a culture of creativity and innovation.
