College of Administrative Sciences Organizes a Scientific Visit to the Men’s Garments Factory

Pursuant to the administrative order issued by the Deanship of the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University on 31/1/2026, the College organized a scientific visit for fourth-year students from the Departments of Business Administration and Accounting to the Men’s Garments Factory in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf. The visit was supervised and accompanied by a delegation of faculty members, including: Prof. Dr. Muayyad Abdul Hussein Al-Fadhl Prof. Dr. Amal Abdul Mohammed Ali Asst. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Rasool Hani Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Fartousi During the visit, the student delegation toured the various departments of the factory and reviewed the mechanisms of the production process, starting from the stages of design and tailoring through to production and marketing. The students also attended a scientific lecture delivered by Mr. Shaker Hamoud Al-Mihna, Factory Director, who addressed the current state of national industry and the challenges facing the public industrial sector, in addition to providing a detailed presentation of the administrative and planning mechanisms adopted by the factory. Furthermore, Mr. Ahmed Al-Talaqati, Marketing Director, provided an explanation of the marketing strategies implemented and the methods used to develop the local product and enhance its competitiveness in the market. This contributed to enriching the practical aspects related to the specializations of Business Administration and Accounting. The visit also featured a fruitful scientific discussion between the students and the factory management, addressing the most prominent challenges and obstacles in the production and marketing processes. The students recorded observations and proposals to incorporate into their graduation research projects, thereby strengthening the link between theoretical knowledge and practical application. At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation toured the factory’s commercial exhibition, where samples of ready-made men’s garments were showcased, reflecting support for national products and promoting a culture of local consumption. The College Deanship affirmed that such scientific visits represent an effective means of strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and public industrial production entities. They also contribute to conveying the realities and challenges of this sector to relevant authorities and decision-makers, in a manner that serves sustainable development and supports the national economy.
