In a step that enhances international academic openness, Al‑Mustaqbal University welcomed two students—Valentin from the College of Medicine and Marie from the College of Media—from LMU Munich and Technical University of Munich. The visit was an exploratory one aimed at exchanging experiences and gaining insight into the educational landscape in Iraq. The visit included a field tour of technical laboratories, modern lecture halls, and advanced infrastructure, as well as an overview of scientific activities and the university’s stimulating academic environment that fosters creativity and strengthens bridges of communication between Iraqi universities and their long-established European counterparts. The German students praised the university’s high level of organization and technological advancement, noting that what they observed reflects a bright and progressive image of higher education in Iraq. They also expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. This visit underscores Al-Mustaqbal University’s rising status in international rankings and its continuous efforts to align with the latest global standards in scientific research. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities.
