The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, received the Governor of Babil, Mr. Ali Turki, during an official field visit aimed at strengthening prospects for joint cooperation between the university and the local government, as well as supporting the educational and developmental progress in Babil Governorate. During the meeting, discussions focused on advancing the higher education sector in the governorate and exploring mechanisms for coordination and integration between the university and the local government. These efforts aim to support developmental and service projects and to enhance Babil’s position as a leading scientific and cultural center. The visit also included a field tour during which the Governor reviewed the significant qualitative progress achieved by Al-Mustaqbal University in infrastructure development and urban expansion. The tour covered ongoing projects to improve internal road networks, organize parking areas, and implement continuous modernization plans designed to provide a fully integrated university environment worthy of its students and supportive of the city of Babil — a city renowned for its civilization and history. The Governor praised the exceptional efforts made by the university presidency in developing the campus and enhancing the quality of education. He affirmed that Al-Mustaqbal University represents a pioneering model that combines academic excellence with urban development, reflecting an ambitious institutional vision that contributes to supporting comprehensive development across the governorate.
