As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance its academic presence and contribute to the advancement of medical education, the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Athraa Yahya Alhijjazi, participated in the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Dentistry in Iraq. The meeting was held at the Presidency of University of Baghdad during the second session of the 2025–2026 academic year, with broad participation from deans of corresponding colleges across Iraqi universities. This participation reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to actively contributing to the formulation of academic visions and discussing strategic issues related to the development of dental education in Iraq, ultimately enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and strengthening graduates’ competencies. The meeting addressed and discussed several important academic and organizational matters, most notably the evaluative examination and mechanisms for its development. Discussions also covered updating scientific specializations, identifying colleges’ needs for teaching staff, and exploring mechanisms to support them in line with current requirements. During her participation, the Dean emphasized the importance of unifying efforts among colleges of dentistry in Iraq and strengthening joint coordination in alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, thereby contributing to raising the scientific and professional standards of graduates in this vital specialty. This participation embodies the pioneering role played by the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University through its impactful presence in national academic forums and its continuous contribution to supporting scientific development and advancing medical education in Iraq.
