The celebration took place during an official ceremony held on campus in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, his assistants, deans of colleges, department directors, and a distinguished group of faculty members and students, in an atmosphere reflecting great pride in this outstanding academic accomplishment. During the ceremony, a speech on behalf of the University Presidency was delivered by Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, who expressed profound pride in this achievement. He emphasized that obtaining international accreditation embodies the university’s vision of consolidating quality standards, excellence, and commitment to globally recognized academic benchmarks. He explained that earning the accreditation was the result of integrated institutional efforts and sustained hard work over an extended period. This process included continuous meetings and consultations with the accrediting body, as well as the preparation of comprehensive academic and administrative documentation demonstrating the College’s compliance with international accreditation standards. These standards covered mission and educational objectives, curricula, faculty qualifications, admission and student affairs policies, infrastructure and laboratories, in addition to scientific research, community service, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. He also commended the direct and ongoing support of the University Presidency, as well as the significant efforts made by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, its faculty members, staff, and students. He affirmed that this accreditation marks a starting point toward broader horizons of excellence and global engagement, and represents a renewed responsibility to maintain and further strengthen this achievement in line with the rapid developments in pharmacy education. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President honored a number of faculty members who played an active role in achieving this milestone, in recognition of their contributions to enhancing the academic standing of Al-Mustaqbal University at both the national and international levels
