The College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University received today, Sunday, 15-2-2026, a student delegation from the University of Kufa / College of Engineering – Department of Chemical Engineering, on a scientific visit to the Department of Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering. This visit was part of efforts to strengthen academic cooperation and promote scientific openness among Iraqi universities. The visit included a field tour of specialized laboratories and classrooms, where the students were introduced to modern equipment and tools used in practical experiments, and observed how theoretical concepts are linked to industrial applications in the fields of refining, petrochemical industries, and chemical processes. An introductory presentation was also delivered on the College’s vision, academic programs, and plans for developing students’ skills to meet the requirements of the labor market. This visit aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), by supporting the quality of engineering education and expanding scientific collaboration, contributing to the preparation of engineering cadres capable of efficiently and competently serving the industrial and petrochemical sectors.
