In a remarkable academic milestone that reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s leadership in quality assurance and international accreditation, the university celebrated the College of Pharmacy’s achievement of international programmatic accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), one of the world’s leading authorities in accrediting pharmacy education programs. The ceremony took place in a distinguished celebratory atmosphere on campus, attended by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, alongside university vice presidents, college deans, department heads, and a distinguished gathering of faculty members and students. The event reflected a strong sense of pride and recognition for this significant academic accomplishment. During the ceremony, a speech was delivered on behalf of the university presidency by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, who emphasized that earning this international accreditation demonstrates the university’s firm commitment to maintaining the highest standards of academic quality and excellence, as well as its continuous efforts to align its educational programs with globally recognized benchmarks. He explained that this achievement was the outcome of sustained institutional collaboration and extensive preparation over a prolonged period. The process involved continuous coordination with the accrediting body and the development of comprehensive academic and administrative documentation confirming the college’s fulfillment of all accreditation standards. These standards covered educational mission and vision, curriculum design, faculty qualifications, admission and student affairs systems, infrastructure and laboratory facilities, in addition to scientific research, community engagement, and robust quality assurance and continuous improvement practices. Dr. Al-Zuhairi also acknowledged the direct support provided by the university leadership and praised the dedicated efforts of the College of Pharmacy’s administration, faculty members, staff, and students. He noted that this accreditation represents not only a major achievement but also a foundation for further academic advancement and broader international engagement. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the University President honored several faculty members whose contributions played a key role in achieving this milestone, in recognition of their efforts to enhance the university’s academic reputation both locally and internationally.
