The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired an expanded meeting attended by the vice presidents, college deans and their assistants, heads of academic departments, and representatives of the Information Technology units. The meeting aimed to establish a comprehensive roadmap to strengthen the university’s position as an advanced digital academic institution aligned with global standards in management and education.
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the digital transformation framework. Assistant Professor Dr. Ameen Kitab, Director of Student Affairs, delivered a detailed presentation on the advanced HEPIQ software for student information management and the Ministry-approved IQ-Learning platform. He emphasized the importance of launching an integrated training program for college staff to ensure efficient implementation and optimal utilization of digital systems in supporting the educational process.
Within the academic and research platforms framework, Lecturer Ali Ubaid from the Information Technology Department provided a thorough explanation of research management systems, scientific activities platforms, laboratory systems, and the “Electronic Teaching Load” platform for faculty members. These systems contribute to simplifying administrative procedures and enhancing academic performance efficiency within an integrated digital ecosystem.
Engineer Wameed Diaa, the university website administrator, also reviewed mechanisms for developing and continuously updating the official university website and regularly publishing scientific activities, thereby strengthening the university’s digital presence and reinforcing its position in the global academic space.
The University President commended the efforts made in developing these software systems and praised the role of the Deanship of the College of Engineering Technologies, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in supervising implementation. He stressed the importance of direct oversight by deanships in applying modern technologies and seriously moving toward integrating artificial intelligence applications in administration and education, in addition to enhancing the capacities of staff and unit officials to keep pace with rapid technological advancement.
He affirmed that digital transformation is an irreversible strategic choice and a confident step toward realizing the university’s vision of becoming a globally recognized smart university grounded in innovation, quality, and sustainability.
