The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired a comprehensive meeting attended by the university’s vice presidents, deans and their deputies, department heads, and representatives from the Information Technology Unit. The meeting aimed to develop an inclusive roadmap to elevate the university as an advanced digital academic institution that aligns with global standards in both administration and education. The session featured a full review of digital transformation initiatives. Assistant Professor Dr. Amin Kitab, Director of Student Affairs, delivered a detailed presentation on the advanced HEPIQ software for student information management and the 1Q-Learning platform approved by the Ministry. He emphasized the importance of launching an integrated training program for college staff to ensure effective implementation and optimal utilization of digital systems in serving the educational mission. In the area of academic and research platforms, Lecturer Ali Obeid from the Department of Information Technology provided a comprehensive overview of platforms for managing research, scientific activities, and laboratories, in addition to the “Electronic Workload” platform for faculty members. These tools are designed to streamline administrative procedures and enhance academic performance efficiency through an integrated digital ecosystem. Engineer Wamid Diyaa, the university’s website administrator, also reviewed mechanisms for developing and updating the official university website and regularly publishing scientific activities, which strengthens the university’s digital presence and reinforces its standing in the global academic community. The University President praised the efforts invested in the development of these digital systems and appreciated the role of the College of Engineering Technologies, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen, in overseeing implementation. He underscored the importance of direct supervision by the deanships in applying modern technologies and the university’s serious commitment to employing artificial intelligence applications in both administration and education.
