The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, began his speech by expressing his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the distinguished attendees from leaders of higher education and decision-makers, commending their honorable presence and active participation in the EURAS Academy 2026 International Forum, which was hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University for the first time in the Republic of Iraq. He emphasized that this high-level academic presence played a significant role in the success of the forum and in presenting it in a distinguished manner befitting the status of higher education in Iraq. He noted that Al-Mustaqbal University takes great pride in hosting and supporting such international scientific events, as they contribute to strengthening academic dialogue and building bridges of cooperation with regional and international universities and academic institutions. The University President further stated that supporting scientific forums and conferences is among the university’s strategic priorities, stemming from its firm belief in the importance of academic openness and the exchange of expertise, and its continuous commitment to consolidating its role as an active academic institution contributing to the development of higher education and scientific research. In concluding his speech, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi expressed his great pride in the outcomes of the forum and the high-level academic discussions and constructive visions it produced, wishing all participants continued success and reaffirming Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing support for scientific initiatives that serve the educational process in Iraq.
