The Department of Radiology Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific visit to Al‑Marjan Teaching Hospital as part of its academic activities aimed at strengthening students’ practical skills and linking theoretical knowledge with field application. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the medical imaging equipment available in the radiology departments and to provide direct insight into their mechanisms of operation and their vital role in diagnosing medical cases, as well as the services provided to patients. The program included a field tour of various radiology units, during which students received detailed explanations about modern imaging devices, methods of use, and occupational safety procedures followed within the workplace. This contributes to enhancing students’ professional skills and preparing them for real healthcare work environments. This visit also supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting good health and quality education through strengthening applied education and improving the efficiency of healthcare personnel. The visit was supervised by: Ahmed Salman Jasim and Karrar Baji Abdul-Sada.
