The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an educational workshop entitled “Osteoporosis,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Noor Fathi, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a distinguished group of faculty members. The workshop was conducted as part of the College’s scientific activities aimed at enhancing medical knowledge among students and academic staff.
The workshop sought to shed light on osteoporosis, addressing its causes, associated risk factors, health implications, and methods of prevention and early diagnosis. It also highlighted the relationship between osteoporosis and oral health, emphasizing the importance for dentists to understand systemic conditions that may influence treatment planning and patient care.
The session included a scientific presentation supported by up-to-date information, followed by academic discussions that underscored the significance of interdisciplinary integration in understanding diseases with multifactorial impacts.
