The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled “Orforglipron: A New Drug,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hanadi Hadi, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a distinguished group of faculty members. The workshop was conducted as part of the College’s ongoing scientific activities aimed at keeping pace with recent pharmaceutical and medical advancements. The workshop introduced the newly developed drug Orforglipron, outlining its mechanism of action, clinical indications, and key findings from recent studies. It also addressed potential side effects and discussed its relevance within contemporary medical practice. The lecture further emphasized the importance for healthcare professionals, including dentists, to remain informed about systemic medications that may influence treatment planning and patient management within dental settings, highlighting the value of interdisciplinary awareness.
