Under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Ali Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, and with direct follow-up from the Head of the Accounting Department, the Accounting Department at the College of Administrative Sciences at Al-Mustaqbal University is organizing a scientific workshop entitled “Entrepreneurship in Poor Communities,” in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal One related to poverty eradication. The workshop will be delivered by Professor Dr. Muayyad Abdul Hussein Al-Fadhl. Its themes address the role of entrepreneurship in supporting low-income groups, mechanisms for economically empowering poor communities, as well as reviewing practical models and experiences in this field. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 25 February 2026, at 11:30 a.m., in Hall 401, Humanitarian Building – Fourth Floor. The Department invites all faculty members, students, and interested participants to attend and take part in the workshop due to its scientific and developmental importance.
