Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Roudhan Salman, and under the supervision of the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College, Prof. Dr. Thanaa Bahaa Al-Deen Abdullah, an awareness workshop was held on UN Security Council Resolution 1325 concerning the protection of women. The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Iltifat Alaiwi, Head of the Women’s Affairs Committee in the Department of English Language, on Sunday, February 22, at 9:00 a.m. at the College. The activity was attended by the Head of the University Women’s Affairs Division, Assistant Lecturer Mari Imran, in addition to the female coordinators and members of the Women’s Affairs Committees in the College departments, as well as a number of female teaching and administrative staff. This activity falls ضمن the executive plan of the Iraqi National Strategy for Women 2026 (Axis Three, Paragraph 2).
