In a strategic step to strengthen scientific partnership and expand the horizons of academic collaboration, Mustaqbal University, represented by its President Hassan Shakir Majdi, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Al-Qadisiyah, in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Mustaqbal University’s vision to promote institutional openness and exchange of scientific expertise. The MoU was signed during an official visit by a delegation from Mustaqbal University, headed by Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and included Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza, Dean of the College of Science, and Dr. Samir Badrawi, Director of the Department of Cultural Relations. The delegation was welcomed by Professor Dr. Rahi Al-Yasiri, President of the University of Al-Qadisiyah, along with the university’s assistants and several academic leaders. The meeting focused on exploring ways of joint scientific and research cooperation and coordinating efforts in areas of mutual interest. The MoU covers several key areas, including: Conducting joint scientific research and participating in conferences, seminars, and workshops. Exchanging academic visits and jointly supervising postgraduate students. Leveraging practical experiences to support the Sustainable Development Goals and enhance faculty capacities. Providing summer training for students and updating curricula to improve the quality of higher education and achieve sustainable scientific and developmental impact. This step reflects the commitment of both universities to developing education and scientific research, and to promoting academic integration that serves students, the academic environment, and society at large.
