In alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), the Department of Optics Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific awareness activity represented by a field visit to the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science. The activity aimed to promote eye health awareness and strengthen academic cooperation between scientific disciplines. Activity Themes: Highlighting the importance of periodic vision examinations and their role in early detection of eye problems. Addressing potential risks that may affect the eyes in laboratory and investigative environments. Providing preventive guidelines on the use of protective eyewear during work. Discussing common aspects between optics techniques and forensic evidence related to visual accuracy and analysis. Accompanying Activities: Distribution of specialized educational brochures containing health guidelines and basic eye examination information. Opening a scientific dialogue and exchanging questions between both sides to enhance mutual understanding. Emphasizing the importance of sustaining scientific cooperation through future joint activities.
