The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Engineering, in cooperation with the Rehabilitation and Employment Committee in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, organized a scientific workshop on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, entitled: “CV Writing Skills and Passing the Job Interview,” in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).
The workshop aimed to empower students and graduates to prepare a professional CV that meets labor market requirements by providing a detailed explanation of how to organize information and present skills and experiences in a systematic and appealing manner. It also highlighted the most common mistakes in CV preparation and ways to avoid them.
In addition, the workshop included practical training on job interview skills, mechanisms for presenting oneself with confidence and professionalism, and strategies for answering common interview questions. This contributed to enhancing participants’ readiness and increasing their chances of securing employment opportunities aligned with their academic specializations.
