Dr. Munther Samin Shaker, a faculty member in the Department of Optometry at the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, participated in peer-reviewing a scientific research paper for the Iraqi Journal of Medical and Health Sciences (IJMHS). This journal is recognized within the international Open Journal Systems (OJS), reflecting the academic trust in the university’s faculty.The participation was held under the slogan: "Advancing Scientific Research to Ensure Quality Education," aiming to strengthen academic review standards and ensure the rigor of published intellectual output. The process involved a precise and systematic review of the research, including result analysis and measuring the study’s originality and knowledge contribution to ensure compliance with international scientific requirements.The review followed the strictest peer-review mechanisms, contributing to the consolidation of academic quality as a fundamental pillar for developing scientific research. The department's leadership emphasized that such scientific activities enhance Al-Mustaqbal University’s standing in international forums and support the excellence of its faculty members.This contribution is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support the quality of education and scientific research, in alignment with its vision to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education University of Al-Mustaqbal – The First and Leading Private University
