The Department of Aesthetic and Laser Techniques organized a training workshop entitled Chemical Safety and Security, delivered by Lecturer Alaa Salman Hamza for second-year students. The workshop was held on (date) in the department’s laboratories at the college. The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of proper handling of chemicals used in laboratories, safe storage procedures, and appropriate disposal of chemical waste. It also highlighted emergency response plans and the correct actions to take in case of laboratory accidents. The session included both theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations inside the laboratory, where real examples of safety procedures and the proper use of protective equipment were presented, reinforcing students’ practical skills and promoting a safe educational environment.
