The website administrator of the Optical Technologies Department, Asst. Lect. Fatima Haider Jassim, at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the specialized training program entitled “Developing Linguistic and Media Skills for Website Administrators,” which was organized by the Continuing Education Center under the patronage and supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University. The program aims to enhance the skills of website administrators in colleges and academic departments and to strengthen their abilities in preparing and formulating media content for official websites based on sound linguistic and professional standards, thereby improving the quality of digital content within academic institutions. The program included several important training topics, most notably digital content management, professional standards for editing university news, mechanisms for crafting effective media headlines, and methods of institutional communication. It also addressed the use of artificial intelligence technologies to support writing and editing processes in accordance with clear ethical and professional guidelines, in addition to enhancing skills in preparing content in English to meet the requirements of international academic publishing. This participation reflects the Optical Technologies Department’s commitment to developing the competencies of its administrative and media staff and improving the quality of content published on the department’s official website, in a way that professionally reflects its academic and scientific activities and aligns with the university’s direction toward digital transformation and strengthening its media presence.
