As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s institutional approach to enhancing the quality of academic and research performance, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, chaired a meeting with the Artificial Intelligence Department. The meeting was attended by the university assistants, the head of the department, and a number of faculty members, to review the current academic and scientific activities of the department and discuss ways to further develop them. The meeting included a presentation of the department’s key achievements in the fields of education and scientific research, in addition to discussing future plans aimed at developing academic programs in line with labor market requirements and the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and modern technologies. The meeting also emphasized the importance of supporting research outputs and encouraging faculty members and researchers to publish in reputable scientific journals, as well as promoting students’ participation in scientific competitions and research activities that contribute to refining their skills and enhancing their scientific and technical capabilities. In the same context, the meeting discussed the importance of expanding scientific cooperation with local and international universities and research institutions in order to exchange expertise and implement joint research projects that support the department’s scientific development. During the meeting, the University President stressed the importance of advancing the academic level of the Artificial Intelligence Department and strengthening its presence in academic and research forums. He also highlighted the need to improve the scientific content published on the department’s website to reflect its active academic and research movement and to showcase its role in supporting the university’s orientation toward innovation and digital transformation.
