Women’s Affairs Unit Holds work shop with Its Committee in the Radiological Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies

The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Health and Medical Technologies held a meeting with its committee in the Radiological Techniques Department as part of its efforts to strengthen institutional work and activate the role of the unit in supporting scientific and community activities related to women’s affairs within the college, in line with the university’s vision to enhance the role of women in the academic environment. During the meeting, several important topics related to the unit’s action plan for the upcoming period were discussed. The participants reviewed a number of programs and activities that the unit intends to implement in cooperation with the department, aiming to raise awareness of women’s issues and encourage their active participation in scientific and cultural activities within the university. The meeting also included the presentation of various proposals for organizing seminars, awareness workshops, and training courses aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing their scientific and practical capabilities. In addition, the discussion emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of mutual respect, equality, and equal opportunities within the academic community. Furthermore, the attendees discussed ways to activate community initiatives that contribute to serving society and strengthening the positive role of women, while emphasizing the importance of teamwork and continuous coordination between the Women’s Affairs Unit and the different departments of the college to achieve shared goals that support students and the educational process. At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee stressed the importance of holding regular meetings to follow up on the implementation of the proposed plans and programs, as well as developing initiatives that enhance women’s presence and their active role in the academic community, in line with the vision of the college and the university in supporting women’s issues and achieving sustainable development goals.
