The Department of biology at the University of Al-Mustaqbal organized an art exhibition on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in the Faculty of Science building as part of a campaign to raise awareness against violence toward women. The exhibition showcased a collection of artworks depicting various forms of violence inflicted on women, accompanied by educational messages highlighting the importance of reducing and combating this societal issue. Students of the department contributed several artworks reflecting their perspectives on rejecting violence against women and advocating for the respect of women’s rights and the enhancement of their social status. The exhibition was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Science, the Head of the Department of Life Sciences, faculty members, and students, who appreciated the exhibited works and commended the efforts in organizing this awareness-raising activity. This event aligns with the University of Al-Mustaqbal’s initiatives to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to gender equality and women’s empowerment, by fostering societal awareness on the importance of protecting women’s rights and creating a safe and equitable environment that ensures their active participation in community development.
