The Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department at Al‑Mustaqbal University organized an awareness activity aimed at spreading health awareness about cancers and highlighting the importance of recognizing their causes, symptoms, and methods of prevention. This initiative comes as part of the department’s continuous efforts to promote health culture among students and the community. The activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Hussein Safaa Abdul Amir and Ms. Shahd Nawras Abbas, where scientific and educational information was presented about the importance of regular medical check-ups and early cancer detection, which play a significant role in reducing infection rates and increasing the chances of treatment and recovery. The activity also focused on encouraging students to adopt healthy lifestyles and avoid factors that may increase the risk of cancer, as well as promoting individual and community health responsibility. This activity is part of a series of scientific and awareness initiatives organized by the department to enhance health awareness and medical knowledge among students in a way that contributes to serving the community.
