Symptoms: Dizziness Nausea and vomiting Blurred or lost vision Difficulty breathing Loss of consciousness Treatment: Treatment includes the administration of antidotes such as ethanol or fomepizole, along with dialysis in severe cases. Prevention: Proper use of alcohol-based products Keeping them away from children Ensuring proper ventilation Avoiding unknown or unsafe products Conclusion: Medical alcohols are a double-edged sword; they can be beneficial or harmful depending on their use.
