Within its strategic orientation toward digital transformation and the advancement of education quality, the Council of Al-Mustaqbal University held its seventh session, chaired by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and attended by council members, including vice presidents and college deans, to discuss a set of key issues related to the development of academic and administrative performance.
The session opened with an emphasis on adherence to the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stressing the importance of completing registration requirements on modern educational platforms, including IQ Learning and SIS, to maximize students’ benefit from the digital environment and to further develop the university’s e-learning system.
The Council also addressed programmatic accreditation, highlighting the need to meet its requirements in accordance with national and international standards through the integration of efforts across colleges and academic departments, thereby reinforcing the quality of educational outcomes and strengthening the university’s academic standing.
The session featured a distinguished academic recognition, as Professor Dr. Alaa Dhari was congratulated on attaining the rank of full professorship, in appreciation of his scholarly contributions and outstanding academic efforts.
In terms of activities, the Council commended the level of student engagement in scientific and volunteer initiatives, praising the success of the national planting campaign and expressing appreciation to the supervising bodies and participating colleges for their remarkable performance, reflecting a strong spirit of teamwork and social responsibility.
Regarding scientific research, the Council approved the establishment of several academic journals and the organization of academic conferences, in a step that enhances research activity and supports the university’s orientation toward robust scientific output.
The Council also approved the organization of the Fourth Sustainability Week and the anniversary celebration of the university’s founding, scheduled for March 11–16, 2026, showcasing the university’s achievements and future vision.
The session concluded with the endorsement of summer training programs for students and faculty members in several countries, including England, Egypt, and Turkey, aiming to develop practical skills and enhance international experience.
This session reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to continuing institutional development and building an integrated digital educational environment based on quality and innovation, aligned with the evolving demands of modern higher education.
