The regular online meeting was held on Thursday evening, March 20, 2026, chaired by the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, with the attendance of his deputies and several heads of departments, divisions, and units. During the meeting, the progress of academic and administrative work was discussed, as well as the follow-up of the implementation of approved plans, with a focus on completing all previously agreed tasks.
The meeting addressed several main topics, including the development of research, sustainability, and conference plans to align with the university's directions, preparations for joint and evaluative exams, and the follow-up of twinning agreements. The discussion also covered the program accreditation file and the distribution of tasks among specialized committees to ensure completion within the specified timelines.
The meeting also focused on verifying registration data in the IQ-learning and SIS systems, and completing the teaching load in accordance with approved regulations. Directors of divisions and units presented a visual review that included a presentation on quality procedures and accreditation requirements, reports on research plans and the number of completed research projects, and highlights of scientific publications during the current period.
The review also showcased the most prominent achievements, assessed the extent to which previous plans were implemented, and discussed proposals for participation in the Future Sustainability Week and preparing the requirements for the events.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the college administration emphasized the importance of adhering to deadlines and working as a team to ensure continued excellence and achieve the ambitious goals that have placed the university at the forefront.
