The Department of Accounting organizes a specialized scientific workshop highlighting one of the most critical issues of modern society. SDG 1: No Poverty The workshop, titled "Social Justice and its Role in Ending Poverty," was held to embody the university's commitment to achieving the first goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): ending poverty in all its forms. Workshop Details: The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Izzeddin Hassan Kadhim, focusing on several core pillars, including: The Concept of Social Justice: Exploring how to formulate economic policies that ensure a fair distribution of resources. Economic Empowerment: The role of educational and academic institutions in proposing solutions to tackle the phenomenon of poverty. Inclusive Development: Linking the academic outcomes of the Department of Accounting and Administrative Sciences with society's need to reduce class disparities and provide equal opportunities.
