The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop entitled “World Water Day,” delivered by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Athraa Yahya Al-Hijjazi, on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, at the College building, in the presence of faculty members and administrative staff. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of water as a vital resource essential for life, emphasizing the need for its conservation and rational use. It also sought to enhance environmental awareness among staff regarding the challenges related to water scarcity and the means to address them. The session covered several key themes, including sustainable water resource management, the role of individuals and institutions in water conservation, and the promotion of daily practices that contribute to reducing waste and ensuring the optimal use of this critical resource. During the workshop, the College Deanship emphasized the importance of promoting environmental awareness within educational institutions and strengthening social responsibility toward the preservation of natural resources, in alignment with global efforts to protect the environment and achieve sustainable development.
