In line with the directives of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University and the official letter regarding participation in the National Afforestation Program, the College of Engineering actively participated in the tree-planting campaign held in the university gardens on Sunday, March 15, 2026, with the involvement of a number of faculty members and students. This participation came as part of supporting environmental initiatives and promoting a culture of preserving green spaces within the university campus. The college contributed by planting a number of seedlings as part of the campaign, which aimed to expand green areas and raise environmental awareness among students. This initiative reflects the College of Engineering’s commitment to actively contributing to community and environmental activities organized by the university, in line with its vision of promoting sustainability and social responsibility. It also supports the fifteenth Sustainable Development Goal (Life on Land – SDG 15) by protecting the environment and enhancing vegetation cover.
