It is scientifically known as Fittonia albivenis and belongs to the Acanthaceae family. Botanical Description: Fittonia is a small, low-growing herb, usually reaching a height of about 10–15 cm. Its leaves are green with prominent veins in white, pink, or red, creating a distinctive net-like pattern. The flowers of Fittonia are small and inconspicuous, so the plant is primarily cultivated for its decorative leaves. Environment and Cultivation Methods: Fittonia grows well in high-humidity areas with indirect light. It prefers light, well-drained soil rich in organic matter. The plant requires regular watering to maintain soil moisture, while avoiding direct sunlight exposure. Importance of Fittonia: Used as an ornamental plant indoors and in offices. Features beautiful, colorful leaves. Suitable for small pots and indoor gardens. Adds a natural and aesthetic appeal to any space.
